hello :) and a question

hello everybody :)
i play the SH3 with no mods and adds (yeah i now, its better and more realistic with for example the GWX) and i have some questions for you.
Wht the ******* :damn: cant i get a promotion over kapitanleutnant and ALL of the medals?? Even when i change the amount of renown point for the sunkd ships in the files. (year 1944 and im still a kapitaleutnant, i play on about 50% of realism... im still learning)
and secondly...is there a mod that will stabilize the uboot on the periscope depth?? specialy the XXI type is unstable...
P.S. Sorry for ma bad english :)
P.S.2 Don't bash me for asking this probably for the 16524 time...buy the forum is soooooo big that i would faste grow roots on the chair before i could find the answers ;)

I think the Kapitanleutnant is the highest rank in the game. There is a way to change it, check this thread.

The medals are related to your renown. Either sink more ships :D, or increase your realism percentage (it effects renown).

I wouldn't know about stabilizing the XXI at PD. I'm playing with one at the moment (GWX) and it seems stable. Maybe it's a stock game issue? :hmmm:

Welcome aboard! :arrgh!:

You don't need a mod to stabilize the periscope just activate "stablized view" in the realism options. You can always activate another realism option to compensate if you want to stay around 50%.

Oh man, wild night in Bankock. Knew it would happen eventually.

Don't worry about asking for the millionth time no-one will complain here, only help you.

(and hopefully you will forgive me for finding a reason to post to get rid of the avatar!)
