HP Pavilion DV2
 

well, I am considering pulling the trigger on a HP DV2 12" laptop with the intention of playing SH3 and SH4 on it. Thing is, I am really wondering about the graphics. Starting off, the DV2 has a pretty low end built in CPU, an AMD Athlon Neo 1.6ghz with 512kb cache. They have also come out with a new dual core one which from what I have read strangely enough performs nearly the same as the single core. Anyways the important part is the graphics. Comes standard with an Integrated ATI X1250 GPU that uses shared memory. The upgrade is the ATI HD3410 which has 512mb of DDR2 ram. What I am wondering is will SH3/4 work on one of these DV2s and how well would it run. If anyone on here has a DV2 please some info would be great. I am thinking that it should run those games fine as it manages to just barely play Fallout 3 and plays Left 4 Dead half decently from what I have read in reviews.

To my understandings... it will not work on an integrated onboard graphic card at all.

Dunno I guess I always could return it if I did decide to get one. Recently I let a friend try SH4 on his laptop. It has crappy Intel X3100 graphics but SH4 DID run on it, just not very well (a lot of lag, low FPS). Does anyone know if SH3/4 is more demanding of CPU or GPU in the performance department?
