Battle Flag Idea

With the problem of mirroring images I have come up with this idea for Carrier and Battleship flags

Carrier will be a rising sun flag with an A in the sun. A standing for Aviation.

Battleship will be a rising sun flag with an H in the sun. A standing for Heavy Capital Ship.
opinions guys?

I thought the point of battleflags was to deepen the immersion with additional historic detail... if we start making up new flag types we are not following the historical pattern. I thought the killflags DIY kit was technically correct from a historical perspective... am I wrong?

Yes, the way DT was doing it was historical. I think we should continue that, using BB for battleships, CV for carriers, CA for cruisers and just tracking anything less as a generic warship.

Ok thanks RR... I thought the killflags kit was the way it was done during the day. Thanks for clarifying for me... I'm going to stick with that style for my own.

Gryphon - nothing at all against your flags... just wanted to confirm what I thought I was doing... was actually what I was doing. <G> Does that make any sense?

The Point I am trying to make is this . yes CV, BB in the meat ball is orrect but when you put them on the sub skin they show up right on the one side of the boat . go to the other side and the text for said flag is backwards. This was to due with SH$ mirror the textures instead of have a texture for each side of the boat.
