USS Stringray SS-161 Down Periscope skin
 

Work in Progress here. Have the number placed but need to find the logo that was on the bow. And trying to match the opening in the hull with the USS Pampanito SS-383 the submarine used to play the USS Stringray SS-161.

This is the best I can find for the logo. Even the movie doesn't provide a great angle on it. I'm sure a little photoshop work can be done to isolate the logo itself.

Thanks Silverwolf. I may use this one but I have email James Todd the artist and I am hoping for a picture from him so I can get a head on shot. If I knew how to screen capture it from the DVD I would of but todays copy right programs make the not possible.

BTW I like how you put the logo I found for you on the shark. She looks good.

I thought it would be more fitting to put the logo on the fin rather than on the bow. There'd be too much going on up there anyway with the number and the eye, it would have looked cluttered.

To bad with all you know how you could make the Stringray logo.
