Ammo Storage

Hello All,

I've just acquired SH3 (version 1.4b) for my collection and been trying to tweak via Silent 3ditor (v0.9.4) the ammo storage amounts for HE, AP and AA rounds for my deck and AA guns in Silent Hunter III\data\Library, GUNS_SUBS.sim and I have not had any luck. While I have been successful adjusting shell speed, recoil time, recoil distance, and reload time, any changes made to the actual amounts to my ammo storage has no effect and the ammo count remains unchanged. Is there another file that I am missing?

If anyone has a suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh yes im afraid the entries you want will be found within the Cfg folder in the basic file. if you increase the amount of shells dont forget to also increase the

[SUBMARINE_AMMOLIMITS1] ;105mm
MaxAmmoPerSlot=2000

storage space for the shells :salute:

Well yes there is that but I think he wanted to try himself :hmmm:
