Nav map lag
Another question I couldn't find the answer to, I'm afraid.
Is nav map lag at high TC normal? I have a very decent computer - Core2Duo, a couple gigs of memory, and the 8800 gts GPU -- and this behavior just doesn't seem right. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? |
The game lags when you have a lot of ships around, e.g. near a convoy or a port. It can also lag if you have a lot of items drawn on a nav map, especially a lot of lines.
Other than that, the game shouldn't lag on your rig. |
Yes, if you go on high tc and, lets say an convoy, comes within some 20-30km range the map will, may, start lagging. Giving you an early warning so to speak. Better drop out of tc when it start lagging:yep: It can also be an enemy aircraft already diving to drop it´s bombs on you:o

Ok, thanks guys! It's pretty annoying but I can live with it. =)
And oh...yeah. Dive bombers kinda suck when they move on your position at 1024 times their real world velocity. Been there done THAT. ;) |
As previously pointed out....turn the negative into a positive, drop tc at the first hint because there is almost definitely something within hydrophone range.
