Removing Lock function
 

I've just started learning to mod. One thing I'm trying to do is remove the lock function from the periscope. Tried several things, not yet. I just want a real working scope. I don't use the stad, so really not concerned about holding a lock, although a little tricky getting a measurement.

Any idea's.

I've also been playing with rain textures trying to make snow. Just need to figure out how to make it snow where it should and shouldn't, times of year, ect.

Things yet out of my league.

But could not live without lock function. Think hardcoaded.:woot:Altuough it does get my Peri. out of position.

Try just not locking the scope! I go for weeks without locking the scope. The lock function doesn't bother me a bit. It's just like being bothered by visual positions being radar accurate. Just don't take measurements off of 'em! Sheesh!:-?:O:

For German subs you can just hide the lock button. In the Data\Menu\menu_1024_768.ini file, just comment out the pos and zone lines for it (in all the scope pages, of course) and it will go away.

Here's the button in the Periscope page (G26) for german subs. Also search for it in the UZO and OP pages.

For US subs the button should've been in the G44 page, but that page is weird. I can't understand how that page works in v1.5.
