Tactical Issue/Help Wanted
Sit Rep:
Followed TF into Southend, getting to the big juicy bit.. there's 2 oceanliners sitting at the dock and i got some itch in my torpedo tubes :arrgh!: PROBLEM THOUGH! :o Subnets all the way, except for the main straight, but its guarded by a staionary Black Swan class. Now the choice, attempt to sneak past and use torps on the liners with the risk of it joining the search to sink me. Or torp it there and now and hope to be able to sink the liners before his buddies arrive ? What should i do.... :|\\ |
If i were you I will sink the destroyer and wait to see if there is any effect on the situation. If there is no change go for the liners.

if there's no other sound contacts from on the way in in the way of DD's then i'd say sink the swan for being a sitting duck then go for the liners!
|
Well i decided to spare the torp(s) and go for the liners.
So i have good news and bad news :rotfl: I managed to sink 1 liner, after running over a subnet and sustaining some damage. :arrgh!: Now offcourse everyone knows i'm there.. no sign of DD's btw, Swan is also still sitting still :sunny: Going for a reload now and take out the other liner, though this will mean a serious detouring.. :hmmm: Will keep you posted.. :yep: |
I'd still take out the DD just to make sure it doesn't wake up and come after you. Plus it will give you more freedom to move around under and near the surface.
