Probably a repost but here you go! Quote:

Of course the conspiracy nuts will just say that these photos are fakes as well. :88)

Photoshopped!

nice.
i suppose you just cannot convince the unconvinced... :88) i doubt many of them would believe it if they were flown up there to view it with their own eyes.:shifty: |
No because they would be convinced they had been kidnapped, drugged and put into a simulation.
That's when they get the guy behind to disconnect the oxygen tube. Can you fake dying? |

I'm pretty convinced the vast majority of these clowns that argue about the validity of the moon landings are people who get their jollies pushing other peoples buttons to see how much they can get the pot stirred. I bet they don't give a rats ass about whether or not the events actually happened. I'm sure everybody has these types at work. I know 2 myself that should be retired but then that would mean they wouldn't be able to cause their daily dose of mischief and pot stirring. With the internet, these type of people must be on cloud nine with the widespread pranks they can get away with. Sure their probably are a few nut cases that actually believe the conspiracy but I really doubt there are too many of them.

I wouldn't be too sure. Yes there are the button pushers but I think most who think it was faked really believe it was faked.

Hmm! Kind of strange. I haven't visited the IMDB "Apollo 13" , "Capricorn 1" or "From the Earth to the Moon" sites in quite awhile. Usually all kinds of hoax nonsense going on and with the 40th anniversary, I figured it be even sillier then usual but they are surprisingly quiet. One guy did post about a Engineering & Technology magazine's poll that shoots down my theory that there's not too many people that actually believe in the hoax theory. According to the poll, 25% of the people surveyed think that the landings where faked. Must admit I'm a bit shocked about it. How can so many people be so incredibly stupid???

Pushing buttons while, polishing their Wood is done here all the time. :haha:

One day I asked him if he was familiar with the conspiracy to kill Lincoln. "There was a conspiracy to kill Lincoln?" So I told him about the plotting and the planning and the guy who was supposed to kill vice-president Andrew Johnson but chickened out, and the guy who was supposed to kill Secretary of State Seward but was tackled by Seward's son, and how they hanged three conspirators plus Mary Surrat, who owned the boarding house where they all stayed (including John Wilkes Booth). By this time his eyes had glazed over. The simple truth is that these people are convinced that someone is covering up what can't be proved, but if you show them a real conspiracy they quickly become bored. Me, I'll concede that any of it could be true, but I get tired of people telling me that I must believe it, or else I just have my head in the sand. It takes untold numbers to keep a secret of any scale, but only one to expose it. If no-one has stepped forward with concrete evidence, then it's a pretty safe bet that it's not true. Like I said back when the original moon photos got lost, I'll always believe screw-up before I'll believe cover-up. |
