Just had to do a clean re-install of sh3 as i got an odd error with sh3 commander where the names of the ships i'd sunk weren't showing anymore since upgrading from 2.7 to 3.2
now i'm yet to test if this has worked however i have noticed that previously my crewmens rank was listed in german after re-install its now in english?
i'm scratching my head trying to find the setting to get it back in german? i usually run language german, text english yet the rank always showed as german in game and when loaded with sh3commander?
maybe i'm too tired and a bit narced after loosing a good crew on their 7th patrol (flippin dover straights) but DID after all.
any help is much appreciated!

ah, figured this out, i'd started my career before altering the voice option to german. so as it was in english when i initially saved my crew got english ranks.
however a new career under german voice options shows german rank.
how odd?
