This summer is off to a good start
 

For a while things were looking quite bleak for me after my discharge from the Estonian Defence Forces, but finaly, things are looking up. I got a job offer from my friends friend where I would be making quite a bit of cash, which I am not going to take, and tomorrow im going to the HRL metal festival again, but this time they are paying me to be there, I shall be selling beer at a metal festival.
After that have something more to look forward to, by now it is allmost sure that I will be deploying to Kosovo next february as part of the estonian peacekeeping contingent there, so my military carreer looks not to be over yet.

Good to share some good news with the best community the internet has to offer, cheers mates and may your beer stay frosty forever.

Was in the recon company of the Kuperjanov battalion yes, but this is not even remotely the same detachment.

Tell me, how'd ya pull that off, I'd imagine there's a bit of an influx of folks from Estonia to get into UN positions. I know there is in Finland.

Sounds ominous. As it should. :) Actually, these guys are pretty good.

there is a huge influx, last year there were 23 candidates for 26 positions, this year there were 216, i am in the final 40 because my platoon commander, who they asked for my evaluation, said that I would do well as a section commander.

Ofcourse I do, when is the last time you heard of someone sober at a metal festival?

Basicaly I am geting payed for drinking beer, listening to some of mu favorite bands and then selling beer to pass the time:rock:
