IRS Weighs Rules for Taxing Private Use of Work Cellphones
Well this is the price of big government I guess. I'm happy I don't have a cell phone for business or personal use.
The IRS is weighing a proposal to deem one-quarter of employees' use of work cellphones as personal use and therefore subject to tax as a fringe benefit. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124473141538306335.html |
WTF isnt it the company whom pay for the cell phones to police this...
Ridiculous. |
Big problem for those whose companies split bills between personal and work related calls already!

But yeah, this entire idea is deplorable. But, in these times, I'm hardly suprised. |
