Darkest Hour
 

Latest beta is out. If you have Red Orchestra, you should be able to download it from your Steam My Games list.

I've only been able to play it for 20 minutes or so, but it seems to blow Mare Nostrum and Carpathian Crosses away. The immersion is great, I love the new gameplay tweaks.

And M1 Garand rocks of course!

If anyone wants to play a game, post their Steam username and I'll add you to my Steam buddy list. I usually play on the East Coast TWB servers. My Steam username is vertical , I'll be on a bunch today procrastinating on my final Computer Science project I'm sure....:)

I'm not very impressed. It is free and I will play it more if I am bored but just saying I was not impressed.

I will certainly give it a shot. I was a beta tester and forum moderator for RO back when it was a UT mod, always wanted a Western Front version :)

Mod is EXCELLENT. The tank maps and battles are great!, many new features adding to realism, almost feels like a new game. Vanilla RO tank action looks arcadish compared to the tank action seen in Darkesthour. :rock:

Yeah Darkest Hour 3.0, favoring the Germans with fighting British and Americans, instead of just plain ol Russians. I'm in the Fallschirmjäger Regiment 9 so you may see me often in the DH servers along with my comrades.
