Somolia Pirates
Hey,
Where's the Headlines? Ok I live in the good "Ol U. S. of A.....Where's the media, who doesn't always give us the news? What happened to the "Pirates"? They finally get their ass kicked? They don't want retaliation? Come On, it can't be that easy, can it?........They're just a bunch of criminals..... Kick their ass and they run? |
Yeah, they've been absent from the news lately.... maybe they took up a new vocation? :hmmm:

They hijacked all navy warships and reporter crews, so that nobody is left to report something anymore. :)

Swedish navy caught a few about 2 weeks ago. The corvette Malmö hunted down a small craft trying to get away after an attampted hijack.

I heard a brief mention on the radio a week or two ago that one of thieir 'mother ships' had been located and stopped. No more real details.
Its a news cycle thing. Right now theire caught up in the middle east looking the other way as it were. Its like when a light plane crash makes the headlines. All of a sudden it would seem there is a flurry of light plane crashes when the truth is they happen all the time. Its just 'trendy' to report them at this time. I watched on a weather channel the other day a live report of a tornado forming. It was pretty damn cool they actually filmed the storm form send down little feelers and finally it formed one helluva tornadoe. A pretty decent story at the time. But now that channel is all tornado all the time practically running the pre-recorded footage 24 hours a day. In fact you had to go to another channel to get the actual weather. |

Thanks JimBuna....Never heard about the 111 pirates captured. Sounds like no one wants the trouble over there, unless there's some foreign aid involved
