Pete Doherty caught with drugs...again.
This man sickens me. He really does.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8089361.stm Musicians are supposed to be role models for their audiences, and this guy has been in and out of prison more time than the wardens have. Why do people continue booking him to events? He's quite evidently not going to change, and he'll continue to waste everyone's time and money until he's forcefully placed in rehab to sort himself out. |
I take it you dont like the Rolling Stones then.I see a musicians job to entertain people.I listen to a wide range of music and I have to say that very few of them are what I would call role model worthy. I dont worry what any artists do on their own time role models for kids should be their parents their teachers thier hard working peers not famous people. Hell i was rather blown away by a high school buudy of mines kid brother a few years back when I was in town on leave from the Air Force he told me I was his role model. I asked him why bestow such an honor on me he told it was because I did something that mattered with my life in stead of just sitting around wasting my life away. You seem to be a big fan of Spock why dont you show kids that you know what a good role model is that would be logical.:yep: I have a daughter that is 8 and she hates Paris Hilton( I have no idea why I nor my wife ever mention her) I think most people make the right choices in the end. even if a kid did see Doherty as a role model if he had any brains hed realize what harm the use of drugs has done to Mr. Doherty. |
