File Front frustration
 

Some times I will try to download a mod from FF. I click on the modders FF download link and am taken to FF, not the modders file or site. This has just happened with Racerboys SH4 to SH3 & Luzows 5th music. Verry frustrating when a good mod is out there and FF wont let you access it.

That's why I think everyone ought to seriously consider using Subsim's file hosting or Beyond The Shadows. Both are free and your files never get deleted. :know:

FileFront deletes large files fast when they are not downloaded.

People should be advised that it would appear that FF (since its change of ownership) have stopped sending out email warnings of proposed file deletions...it is best practice to check your account at least once a week because the warnings are posted on your account page.

I don't know about others but I've been getting a lot of redirects to some real estate site when I've clicked on FF downloads. Lots of pop-ups too.:damn:

Can't believe it.....I actually received notice of file deletions this morning :o

The site is apparently functioning correctly now. The ads are the price you pay for the free use of the site.

Same here, I actually got the email and the files were still waiting for me to un-queue them. Afterwards the 'headcount' matched to what I remembered. :yeah:
