career load crash.
 

Well im hoping i can find some help on this matter. its been a while since ive posted here. Actually..i dont think i ever posted here...wierd.

Thought id reinstall sh4, and the expansion. I liked it, its a good sim ..until you reach the horrid career load ctd.

I follow the older ideas, Save regularly, with no enemies nearby, at zero throttle and on the surface. Well it figures, 2nd patrol after several hours of hunting i save ..exit.

I come back a while later to continue my good career and blam..it crashes loading the career. Are there ANY real cures for this loading disease? I mean anything that works 100% of the time?

Due to this terrible terrible bug, ill never buy another ubi product again. Im just sick of expecting a good sim to have it killed by bugs that should have never existed or at least patched out .

hope someone has a postive response, otherwise im not wasting time on the sim anymore. im just tired of it.

First off, do you have any MOD's installed ?

where did you download the game too ?

What are youre computer spec's ?

The fix is about ten years old.

Hey ML, the link would never load... what is it? I had a bad save the other day myself... had to restart the patrol. Not going to quit the game or anything like that - but I would love to know if there is a solution.
