GWX 3 not reading Main.cfg
 

Hello! I'm trying to mod time compression, to put the game to real time when spotting a ship, and the maximum tc to 4096(is higher possible?), but the change isn't made when i've saved the file, and started a patrol. BTW is 1280 x 1024 supported?

Are you using SH3Cmdr? If you do you can edit the TC alerts from there and not from the Main.Cfg

First off, welcome to Subsim.:up:

Are you aware that there are 2 main.cfg files? The first is in the main SH3 program folder, the second is in the respective career folders in My Documents. If your career is already established this is where you will need to make the change.

Lastly, you might want to make it a little easier on yourself and use SH3 Commander which has many other tweaks in addition to time compression changes.

Oh! I wasn't aware of the other main.cfg. Thank you very much. I'll check out the SHIII Commander.

Thanks a million! This was driving me crazy! I was wearing out the plus key in the Kiel river!

if you get Hsies patchkit along with stieblers addons Stiebler has a minimum TC fix that you can use for the keil canal. this TC fix is a great solution because you switch it on and off so you are not affecting the near ground TC thoughout the patrol.
