Modern ships?

Im looking for loads of modern-day ships, that i can view like i view the ships in the encyclopedia-part of SH3 (rotate, zoom etc). I also like that i get some data about the ships while viewing them.

But SH3 is only ww2... Any mod that includes lots of modern ships (both civilian and military)? Or any other game or applicatin that does this? I know of something called ship simultator 2006 but it has no military ships...

All mods in SH3 usually try to be historically accurate. Therefore it will be difficult to find one with modern ships.

I think games like Dangerous Waters or Jane's Fleet Command will give you the oportunity to play with modern ships. Nevertheless I don't really think you will find a game where you can take a modern submarine and conduct convoy battles. These things are not built for this mission anymore.
