Just found out about this and I'm furious!!!!! Cant the little *******s just leave old good games as they are?!?!!? ****ing idiots! ****slappers!! WANKERS!!!!

Now they have done a "Director's cut" out of Broken Sword: The shadow of Templars for what else than the ****ing idiotic spin-your-****-around-to-play-Wii!

And I dont mean a re-release with a fancy title, I mean they have taken the perfect story, put it to a grinder, shat on it, peed on it, eaten and shat it out again and ****ed it up the ass!

That is pathetic. I did play the first one but never played 2, 3 and 4. Have you tried them Dowly? If so, any good?

I did see that there is a 2.5 which is made by fans, takes place between 2 and 3 but retains the 2D style of the first two games. It apparently comes in German with English subs, or just English subs no voice although the website claims English voices are on the way. It is free to download.

BTW, if you are in the US and are unsure of what we are talking about, the first game at least was released under the title Circle of Blood.

(side note.. I always wondered why they do that in the US... Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone became the "Scorcerer's" Stone.. Jack Whyte's Dream of Eagles book series was renamed "The Camulod Chronicles" etc... )

Broken Sword 2 is pretty much as good as BS 1, so if you have a change, get it. After that, they converted the game to 3D graphics and IMO ruined it in every aspect, so dont bother with them.

Broken Sword was fantastic. A true sentiment to the belief I have that 2D point and clickers have heaps more merit than 3D ones.

I'm just loving that first post.
