Need a replacement joystick, recomendations?

I have the Cyborg EVO, which is $10 expensive, but has force feedback. Excellent joystick.

That was my second pick, my third pick is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826102008.

You might reconsider raising the EVO as your 1st pick. Most of us have it and it really is worth the extra $10. Sure it's not as sleek as the Cyborg X, but the force feedback is pretty big advantage in EVO. It's not just the rumble effects, but you can adjust the stiffness of the joystick etc. with FF. :yep:

I've got the Saitek Aviator and am really pleased with it, great value, but I guess it depends what you want it for as that one is more inclined towards combat stuff, although I do use it for everything.

The main thing that I'm looking for in a joystick is dual throttles as some of my fav planes are twin engines. Thats the main reason that I was considering the Cyborg X.

In that case, go with the Cyborg X. By the looks of it, it's same as EVO but with double throttle and not FF. Reliable and all around great joystick.

if you get Dual Control just for IL2, then I wouldn't buy it
IL2 hasn't got seperate throttle controls modelled.
(it always requires you to switch Engines by pressing the buttons ''Select engine# /Select Right/Left Engines'')

there are ways to get it to work with 3th party applications, dont ask me how...google it.

Sadly IL-2 does lack the dual throttle option but there is Flight Sim X.:yeah:
