No, what happens is 'pork' is thrown in on top of these. For instance, the stimulus bill had things in it that were non-stimulus related. The same will happen here. Some of this money approved will go to other things other than Iraq or Afghanistan. Perhaps this is Steamwakes thoughts.

No the trillions of dollars in the 'stimulous package' and bail outs were driven from the left side of the aisle.

Now that all that money is being soaked up and in many cases being pissed away all of a sudden there is a shortfall for the military budget. So the military budget was sort of an afterthought.

Go figure.
