... that's how I must look like int the SH3 world.
After a year spent entirely in RL I wanted to get back to North Atlantic. Of course the Leutnant zur See Werner Weyprecht had disappeared in a Vista crash, almost as prematurely as Rolf Mützelberg. Well, I downloaded all upgrades - GWX3.0, OLC Gold, several other new mods, the chapters 9 and 10 from the NAVTEDRA manual and so on, promising to myself to play DID this time at least one career...
Nope, all I got was a "Cannot initialize 3D engine" error message from my XP SP2.:-?
In a week I'd have to return to RL, still as green in a sim I've had for years.
Let's see the positive: this way I have time to learn some plotting, right?

But the next time the U-34 gets underway, I'll be on the bridge!... will I?

What kind of video card are you running? Have you updated it with the latest drivers?

So you're using Vista or Xp ? If XP I recomend you to download SP3 unless you want to have more vulnerable OS..

Not sure where the problem is but usually a clean reinstall solves most of the problems with SH3 + GWX

Is D3DOverrider running in your system tray?
