My Revell Gato at sea
Finally got her to the lake and run. I never seem to be able to get anyone out with me to shoot video so I had to do it myself driving with one hand and shooting with the other. I'm pitch a bit as it's hard to do with one hand!

There's more on my youtube account of the trim trials in the pool and the insides to the boat. |
She looks good!
The underwater shot reminds me of 'Run Silent, Run Deep'. |

Nice model:yeah: Makes you want to sneak into the aquarium were you have the big glass tanks were you can send her deep and still see her. Hmmmmm...I wonder how long you could get away with it before the aquarium folks find what you are up too.

OMG you stole my dream :D Somebody call the police...

Thats pretty cool !
I always wondered about RC subs, how deep can you go till you lose radio contact and if you did go too deep what would happen? |
Thanks guys. you never want to dive deeper than you can still see them underwater. These boats can go deep. But if you lose signal the fail safe kicks in after a programed time of signal lost which can be several seconds. Ballast blows and up she comes.
