Read and agreed.

I never would have read anything in the multiplayer thread, but since you had to point it out I left my own opinion there. Nothing personal, just what I feel.

Riiiiiight...

So, this is a thread in the wrong forum, linking to a post that says how this website ComSubsPac is not spamming subsim all over with pleas to join up? I never heard of ComSubsPac and never thought they were spamming for members... until now!

If anyone is interested in multiplayer, wouldn't they already be browsing the multiplayer forums? If this thread was meant ironically, it would be a work of genius, sadly, I fear it is not.

To quote the linked page:

Quote:

Recently, it has come to my attention that there are those who mutter in back rooms about ComSubsPac being "spammed" around. I know that every crowd has its malcontents and nay-sayers but I feel the record should be set straight before their insinuations come to be regarded as gospel among the rest. As the old saying goes, "If you shout a lie long enough and loudly, people will come to believe it as the truth."
Oh no! I guess I must be a nay-sayer. Oh but hang on, I'm not in a 'back room' I'm in a main forum... but still, I now agree with those in the 'back rooms', wherever they are... hmmm... If you don't want to be seen as spamming for members, then... stop spamming for members... that would be the reasonable course of action no?

Could this thread please be moved to the super-ironic-slash-genius-posts section of the website, or deleted, whichever is more realistic.

Its a Community Post,
You decide :salute:

I have decided that this post is irrelevant to this forum and in general is spamming for new members of ComSubsPac, which is poor form. The rating of 1.8 from 5 votes (one of 5 stars - I wonder who voted that, and four of one star) says it all as to the 'community' decision.

So lawbreakers have always justified their evil deeds, in the name of "community" and the "greater good" and characterized the arguments in favor of just rules and individual rights as an attack on goodness, niceness and the rights of man. Poppycock! We won't eat that sawdust! We've eaten real food and we like it.

You're spamming.

It's spamming, no matter what type of spin you put on it.

Also, there's this wonderful forum feature called "Announcements," which will automatically create an (gasp!) announcement linked to your post at the head of each forum page. No muss, no fuss, no multiple threads posted all the way from here to Timbuktu and back. I highly suggest you employ said feature instead of the current tactic you're using.
