First Radio Experience
 

Today I've had my first real radio experience. Today I was the one who got called by the DJ interviewing me about why I think I'm the biggest Lord of the Rings lore fan in the Kansas City area.

Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite book series, and I explained passionately (though nervous and my voice was probably shaky) about why I thought that way. I think I convinced him and won 4 tickets to see the Lord of the Rings symphony next Thursday night. :yeah:

If they ever have a segment for submarines, naval warfare, or video games I'll mention subsim.

But, this lord of the rings symphony is like a once in a lifetime thing. Kinda like Subsim meets, though now I get to go to my second one this year.

I once called a call-in show on the Finnish radio. It was a strange conversation, a DJ had done a tv-show and was bored with it and was now looking for something new. I asked him what was wrong with the old show, he couldn't really answer. This lead to a really awkward pause in the interview that was being listened to by all of Finland.

Oh well. :)
