machine gun MG-42 ???
Hi sea wolfs , my respect in your works of hard modeling.
Earlier at a forum someone asked a question on machine gun MG-42 and its installations on German submarines .Но me and not clearly MG-42 it is possible to establish whether or not? In general as much as possible shooting the weapon to establish on a submarine not breaking structure of game Who knows as its install? What files it is necessary to edit that- machine gun became the playing resemblance an flack gun ? What model MG-42 3D it is necessary to select that she corresponded to the playing quality graphs ? I am sorry for my bad english. |
there is No MG-42 in game although models do exist

The MGs that are inside the German subs in SH4 look like MG-34s to me not MG-42s. And seeing as that most German tanks and other fighting land base machines used mostly MG-34s Id assume that any german subs would also have MG-34s. the MG-42s went to the infantry first and foremost.

there is a .50 mod for the s18 if you can get to work:yep:

there's no reason you'd want an mg42 on your sub. inaccurate at any range you'd want to use it unless your within boarding distance. you'd want a mg34 anyway. more accurate, especially at longer range, slower firerate (instead of squirting about 5 rounds in a tiny squeeze of the trigger, you've fired 2-3) it wouldn't overheat as fast (therefore you wouldn't need to change barrels as often)
these drawbacks still do not affect the mg42's greatness. In an infantry engagement, especially in an urban environment, the mg42 is the greatest machinegun... ever. in the world. ever. :|\\ the new german mg, the mg21 does not even come close to the mg42. The only weapon that comes close to the mg42 is the FG42. It was much louder than the mg42, so when soldiers heard this gun, and it could be a couple blocks away they'd still drop to the ground in fear. though every machinegun was an mg42 in the mind of a soldier. just like how every german tank was a tiger to the allied tankers. |
