Request Mod for move Torps to Bow & Fore side
Dear buddies,
Is there any mod that could allow us to free move the reserved torps from fore side to bow side? or vice versa? Thank you very much:salute: |
Hi, I've never heard about it..
personally I think because it wouldn't be a realistic mod! just think in the RL how to move a very heavy torpedo through sub compartments by small hatches..:o |
No, there is no mod.
|
So, was it possible in RL?
|
Uhm, isn't 'fore' the same as the bow-side? Or do you mean to move from aft (rear) side to the front?

That's why the milk cow workarounds in the game aren't entirely realistic. In real life they would transfer fuel and one or two torpedoes to guarantee a safe passage home. They weren't a be-all-end-all method of extending patrol times to a year or more. |
Here's the procedure:
1.- Shoot the torpedo at slow speed while surfaced 2.- Ring full speed ahead and follow it 3.- When it runs out fuel, crash dive and take a steep angle 4.- Open rear torpedo tube 5.- Use efficient seaman skill to align your boat with the torpedo falling to the sea bottom 6.- Voilá! You have it already in the stern tube- Close torpedo door and surface just joking ... couldn't resist :D |

My suggestion is to use circle-runners. :know: Oh wait, same problem. :damn: |
oh no.. all of you are wrong.. I've the solution!:D Just tether the torpedo and follow it... Then when it's out of fuel, move the tether from the fore tube to the rear tube and get the torpedo back!

It helps if none of the crew is sober at the time.:har: |

..anyway, my crew prefers the tethering system.. especially if I load the torpedo head with rhum! :o |

You all are WRONG! You disasemble the torpedo move it to the bow compartment then reasemble. Oh crap, Helmut kicked the cup that was holding all the screws overboard.:damn: :D
