Strange ending to a patrol.
 

We were sailing in the middle of the North Sea May 1940 surfaced. Not another ship in site when suddenly we start taking damage, but from what? No ships nearby, no aircraft.

Boat starts to flood and eventually we get told everyone is dead due to a collision?:hmmm:

In GWX3 are there mines in the middle of the North Sea?

I just cannot understand what we collided with? I wish the screen at the end would explain more.

You have either hit a mine,they are out there,or if you are using high time compression you might have collided with a ship:06: High T/C can lead to all sorts of trouble leaving the crew no time to react:03:

Yes, there are mines in the North Sea. But, as Irish1958 said, you need to define "middle". Exact location can let us tell you if there are mines where you are.

Also, if you open up the Mission Editor you can see for yourself.
