Engima Rising Tide Gold Ed

Going thru the downloads section here reminded me of this title that I never got around to owning/playing.

Should I bother to part with the $15 and give it a try now :06:

Disclaimer: former employee.

May I suggest you hold on to your money at this time. There are other threads which will document the opposition forces to Tesseraction Games.

East is currently dealing with a situation which requires more attention than what he can give to the HDV project. However, we/I am currently negotiating in regards to this project. If successful, we will announce the results.

Further details of past matters can be be found from both the producers and the fans elsewhere and through the home port of Enigma at Deep Six.

I have no idea what you're talking about... I didn't realize I'd have to wade thru "issues" before spending lunch money.

Politics aside, is the game worth playing or not?

Hotel Da Volta, the add on for Enigma Rising Tide, was licensed through Insurgent Interactive in Louisianna; now defunct. Those who have prepaid have not been reimbursed.

The project is still alive, subsequent to the closure of Tesseraction Games. I am trying to make the deal to release it, and honor our publisher's broken committment.

The game is worth playing, the add on will be be a nice enhacement.

There are no issues to wade through, but before spending your lunch money, you at least need to know you're going to get a lunch. Wouldn't look good if you paid then came back lamenting not recieving the game.

Yes the game is worth playing, as long as you don't mind realism thrown out the window put that aside and your find this arcady style game fantastic! Command subs and ships. (best looking subs before SH3 came out)

Ah OK, I wondered what happened to the DaVolta thing... :hmmm:

I was just going to pick up the original version.
If you ever get to release DaVolta, I'll buy that too.
