Hi All
Have been on shore leave for the past couple of weeks and i am back and going out on patrol,have to collect a few crew members from the brig and some houses of ill repute and off we go :rock:
SOME QUESTIONS ?
1 is there a thread for mods that you can use with GWX GOLD ?
2 how can you have 3 copes of SH3 on your pc and also SHCommander for each copy without problems ?
3 want to use OLC mod but is there a mod to puts back the ship contacts on the nav map and also a mod to let you know the range to a ship when using the scope ? (want to get the young nephew involved in SH 3 but easy first so he wont get bored,

In order to run multiple copies of SH3 you need a little program called MultiSH3. (you can get it from here http://postdownload.filefront.com/65...8946f8f9ad275c ) That allows you to play any of the copies you like. SH3Cmdr on the other hand allowes you to chose which copy of SH3 you want it to work with.

The environment aspect of OLC is part of the new GWX 3.0. Regarding the contact updates you can just turn them on or off (in GWX).

I have an unreleased and unfinished mod called "Perfect Crew" I use with my grandchildren ages 8,8 and10 to get them going. It is activated via JSGME so you can just use it with them in any install.
If you PM me I will send it to you.
And by all means, use MultiInstall and just label the shortcuts to anything you want to keep them straight.
Many mods will work with GWX3.0 if they don't mess with the menu 1064 and campaign files or rename the ships. The main problem is some of them will break the GWX model.

Melnibonian down loaded multish3 and all i get when i unzip is "FILEMANAGER DLL NOT FOUND"MULTI WILL NOW CLOSE ?
