This movie is of course known for the scene with Ned Beatty and well, you know the scene, but it is an excellent movie. This particular scene is great. BTW, I think the kid beat his butt but good on that banjo.

Paddle faster.......I hear banjos!!:o

Rednecks are a bit different everywhere Jim. This movie is really featuring mountain folk. Then do not know much of anything but they do know their sister really well.:o Hence, the boy who shall we say, does not look completely normal as you and I would define normal features. If you do get a chance to see it, it is a good movie....with exception of 'you look like a hog' part were poor Ned Beatty gets his career rememberance scene:o. Poor fella, never lived that scene down. .....refer to DT's Sqeeeeeeeeeeeel like a pig.................

Oh yes, I remember the film well.....but mainly for the music (tis a funnel not a tunnel and all that) :DL

Inbred communities....no idea what that is all about :O:

Deliverance actually reminds of a more modern (I think) film....Southern Comfort.

Anyone remember that?

No squealing pigs in that one though.....just some National Guardsmen wishing they had more live ammo :damn:
