is it possible to change the markers cross?
 

My idea is to create a mod for editing the map by using the marker. i want to add 10 new marker tools in the map view and change the cross to various signs like numbers etc. where can i find the cross? can somebody tell me the file?

hello , its located at data/menu/mousecurs folder.they are the pencil and pencilext tgas.
but i don't know if you can enter more than these two inside the game

i already found this file yesterday. this is not what i am looking for. in this two tgas you can find the pencil, but not the cross the pencil writes. i am looking for the cross! (or is dagger the right term here?)

a yes Jaeger,olc had changed the one image of pencils to a cross and i thought that was the cross you are looking for. but i understand now what you are looking for and i am afraid that all the stuff for drawing navmap are hardcoded.i wish i am wrong but lets hope somebody ,who knows something more, to help you
