Adjusting Speed
Hello all,
Just bought SH3, and I'm wondering how I can alter the sub speed to make them go faster. Not accelerate the game, just go faster. I just like speed but can't alter a game properly to save my life. |

...My answer is "all of them". (If possible.) Seriously though, I'll take whichever.

Don't do it. Just don't do it...
You will miss the meaning of all this. |

Looks like good fun to me.

Bloody show off in the movie clip unless you've got WW2 jet engine built inside the engine room I reckon it possible to dive up and down that quick.

If the man wants to spend his time playing Call of Duty with torpedoes, let him!
I can give you a starter. Go to E:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Submarine or wherever you've got shiii installed open up the appropriate folder for the type of boat whose speed you want to adjust. In there is a .cfg file. Open it with notebook and at the top of the list you'll find a value for the top speed of the boat. There may be other things you need to do, dunno, never tried it. Someone else will know tho! Meantimes back your file up and try it. EDIT: or just try the s-boot mod. Should satisfy your speed urges. |
