WOW! I stumbled onto a much needed adjunct to my capabilities. I didn't know that the mouse wheel will increment the SONAR direction. Where have I been? I've been playing SH4 for almost six months. I always used "Home-End" to get close. Now, I can home in exactly. I guess everyone else knew about this option. I'm stupid! :damn: Old_tex

Actually I played for years without knowing this. It wasent untill I stumbled onto the 'undocumented key commands' did I realize it.

I discovered it by accident after playing for a year:doh:

I found it out by pushing every button almost randomly when I was starting out, must have been accidentally.

Don't feel bad. I pre-ordered the sim and have played it a lot. Yet I just found out about this feature...today :03:!

Hey Akula I really get a kick outa your signature! Whats the average waiting time for a given enemy?:har:Sorry if this post doesn't belong here,but I had to ask.

Obviously the saying/proverb relates to having endless amounts of patience... but I seem to find it works best if you go a ways upstream and kill the enemy and toss them in the river - then you can hurry downstream to watch them float by in a very relaxed and karmic state while pondering the eternal mysteries of life.
