The Hunter

If you like hunting games, then this could be one for you and it's freeware:DL

You must download a client software (380MB) to play the game, it's an online hunting game with nice graphics. The engine is used before in the game Just Cause 2.

You can choose the time of day when you would like to hunt, and then the daytime and light conditions are calculated in realtime. Before you even encounters on wildlife, you must detect them first, for example based on tracks or or noises.

I can see some potential there...for online hunting, I mean. Be fun if they had a 'caveman' option and let you stalk various critter with a spear or sling...

How do the online aspects come into play? Encounter other hunters, or are the woods 'instanced' so it's all bragging rights?
