Question about patrols/Mission
 

Hi.

Ive been searching the forum but couldnt find any info on this.

Iam using TMO 1.7 + RSRDC + PhotoRec_Fix _TMOall&stock.
I started a career at 7 Dec 1941 and now iam in februari 1943. But i have never got any mission that envolve insertion or photo rec. I only get thos patrol_area_and_sink_ships mission.
I have tryed to change base. Fremantle. Brisbane, Midway but it doesnt matter what base iam on or in what task force i belong.

Is this intended to be like this whit thos mods or is it a bug that thos mission never shows up?

i could be wrong here..i think it was in RSRDC or TMO.. it will depend on where was your starting flotilla for your career(when you start your career).. i.e. picking from subpac/TF-3(forgot the other numbers.. one is just to hunt for tonnages the other was specifically designated for covert ops and so on

Yeah you are right on that Neosnk35 that the TMO mod

has 7 career options.

But when i install RSRD on top of TMO this career options goes away.

Pacific Fleet

Asiatic Fleet

Asiatic Fleet/Div 2

And from the drop down meny, career options, there is many dates that i can selct from to start and Only thos 3 options are left from TMO

New Construction 42, New Construction 43 and Holy Loch UK

And i have only 2 starting positions to choose from if i start a career in 6 December 1941
Manila whit Taskforce 3/51/71 or Perl harbour whit subpac.

So i selected Manila whit the Taskforce.

Does anyone els run thier game whit TMO overhaul 162 Full + Beta TMO 170 Update + RSRDC_TMOv163_v410 + v4xx Hotfix + V410 Patch2 and have same problem as me?

Iam not sure if this have something to do whit it.

Notice the line where it says AllMatch=DISABLE in RSRDC

While in TMO ( and also stock cfg) it says AllMatch=Java Sea

In RDSC all thos "special" missions are set to disabled in that row.

could that be the problem why i never get thos missions?

I will try and replace the cfg file from TMO and se if that affect anything. If it does i need to rewrite the hole cfg file from RSRDC.

Is there any other files that handle what missions you are given more than the PatrolObjectives.cfg file?
