[REL] Turm Emblems Your Way!
And if it starts getting called TEYW?
I'll stop makeing them! :haha: One of the biggest problems with Emblems on the Turms has always been the limits. No more Mates! You now will have nearly unlimited customization ability on them. Where and what you want is now possible. I started on this over a year ago. I was never happy with the first test releases for several reasons. Most users are confussed when multiple files and file placements are needed. Introduceing new nameing and placement stuff throws dirt in most users faces. If a mod is hard to use? Support is even harder for Me. This Mod solves 90% of the problems. But gives 100% results! First up will be the 7C_1 Turm. It will be released tonite with a Demo U-407 Emblem. This should work for most any version or Super Mod.
I've tested it in Stock SH3 and it works fine there. Also tested in GWX 2.0 and up. This is an early release and some other 'little things' will be added in the future. :03: How to make your own Emblem. :hmmm: In the Documents folder you'll find a TGA file. 7C_1_base.tga http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../7C_1_base.jpg The Grey areas are the Paintable areas. This next image shows what goes where. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Sub/7C_1a.jpg Note that you DO NOT need to type backwards! Once you've painted those areas as you see fit Flood Fill the Black area as shown below. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...Flood_Fill.jpg And save as a tga useing a new name of your chooseing. Place this new file in the data/Emblems/SubEmblems folder. Then select it in game as your emblem. I'm not a Graphics guy so the Demo tga and such are pretty Lame. :nope: I expect the Great Skinner Guys will create some wild stuff! :yeah: |

Ideas! As the 7C_1_base.tga is only a graphics file, it can be replaced and updated before/during patrol, with no ill effects during game.....*off to make some Warship, Merchant & AC markers*

Exactly one of my thoughts on 'Scoreing Marks'
:yeah: You can now add your 'Kills' any way you want. And you can Weather the Turm as your game progresses. Got jumped by Aircraft? Add a few patches to fix the Bullet holes. The things that you can do now are limited only by your imagination. The 7B_1 Turm is in progress now. :yep: |
