INVITATION: For Silent Hunter fans everywhere

We cordially invite everyone to our ComSubsPac Silent Hunter Community Members Meeting.

The meeting will be hosted by our administrators at ComSubsPac on our TeamSpeak server. Present members, along with representatives from The Grey Wolves and the SH3 modding community, will also be there to answer your questions, hear your ideas, and give you the opportunity to make new friends.

We are more than happy to help with any issues such as how to host Silent Hunter multiplayer games, using mods, and installation problems. Ideas for what you'd like to see in multiplayer missions, best times to host games, and promoting the Silent Hunter games are also welcome. Or perhaps you're curious about upcoming releases?

Don't have any questions or ideas for discussion ready? Then just kick back and enjoy the company as we all get to know each other better!

The meeting is scheduled for this Sunday, 29 March, 10:00 PM U.K. time (GMT +0) (5:00 PM EST U.S., GMT -5) and will last for one hour but you're welcome to hang around longer if you like. We won't kick you out the door. :03:

If you already have TeamSpeak, you're halfway there. Don't have it yet? Go to www.teamspeak.com and download the TeamSpeak 2 Client.

Once that is done, simply go register at our website, www.comsubspac.com, and log in. Our TeamSpeak server address is listed on our Members' Homepage.

Sign up today to reserve your place at the table as we do have limited space on our server.

This will be what we hope is the first of many such get-togethers and all the devoted fans of Silent Hunter 3 and 4 are welcome to join in for an evening of community fun. :woot:

Looking forward to seeing you there! :DL

Sincerely,
The ComSubsPac Team

Great. I miss using Teamspeak where we all met to discuss issues in another sim. Will this channel be available 24/7? in the future? I used to have several rooms for different activities and or meetings. Look forward to getting some verbal help and meeting fellow Kaeluns in the Rathskeller!

:salute:

As far as the time by zones in the U.S., they work out like this:
  • Pacific Time: 2:00 PM (GMT -8)
  • Mountain Time 3:00 PM (GMT -7)
  • Central Time 4:00 PM (GMT -6)
  • Eastern Time 5:00 PM (GMT -5)
  • Atlantic Time 6:00 PM (GMT -4)
Since the server is based in Ireland, all times given for scheduled events and games are given in U.K. local time (GMT +0).

I'm getting wound up for this already. It going to be a lot of fun! :yeah:

You'll first want to verify that the UK is on Daylight Savings Time. Recently, the US entered the same...

For example... most of the year the time difference between GMT and US Central Standard Time is 6 hours... but lately it has been 5 hours.

Oneshot/Onekill 03-27-09 11:50 AM

Well i would absolutely love to do this, but i don't own a micrphone.:damn:

i might have to sneak out and buy one before Sunday.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:47 AM.
