Do I need to patch the Gold edition DVD?

Also, is RFB a good mod? It says that version 1.5 is needed. I cannot find the 1.5 patch though...I downloaded 1.4

if you got the sh4 gold edition, im sure it got the u-boat addon and for sure your game is 1.5... you dont have to patch it

and for the mods you should read each of their respective threads, so you could know what they contain... i recommend play the stock game with RSRDC first so you could feel the game... btw RSRDC is for campaign immersion.. the stock campaign sucks...

I played SHIII for years with the U-boat mod and like, 10 others:cool:. Probably will just re-install as I am having issues with adding mods, cannot add the gauges mod..even when I do it manually:06: Vista probably.

I think that's standard. There is a u-boat campaign but no training scenarios or single missions. If you have the u-boat campaign then you do have 1.5.

I tried to make a single patrol with the Walther XVIII. I get the option of Human Control when making the mission in the editor. But when I go to play the game, the IXD2 comes up:damn::06::down:

I have the SHIV gold version, do I even have the Walther XVIII??
