DW install problem
 

Greetings all, long time lurker, first time poster :D Been a sub nut, and sub sim addict :O:, since I played Silent Hunter 1 ages ago. I just started playing SC again, and came across DW by chance while looking for SC stuff on the net. Just had to get the game, and now I do :D Only problem is, it doesn't work :wah:

When I hit the "Install" button, the Install Shield Wizard window comes up, the blue bar goes about half way before an error message pops up.

"An installation support file C:\DOCUME~1\Bruker\LOCALS~1\Temp{DCFF5D9C-C618-45C9-A61E-14A6891F28C6}\setup.inx could not be installed.

Wrong parameter (or something along those lines, I run a Norwegian Windows, so it's translated)"

I'm running Windows XP Media Center edition, Norwegian version. Is there anything I can do about this issue? The CD case is on the table next to me, taunting me with it's multi-platform awesomeness, if I can't this to work, I may go mad :o

Found the problem. The install.inx file was corrupted, found that I couldn't move it from the CD :hmmm: Fortunately a friend of mine has DW as well, so I just borrowed his CD. Works like a charm :up: And I get to keep my sanity :D

Hello unfortunately I got the same problem but I don't have any other disc, :down: so I have to find the right file somewhere, if you know where I can download it please tell me I need that file :wah: thank you
