[REL] One Normal Voice

You know those screaming crew of yours, all because you forgot the 'sanitary towels'.

Well this is the plug to shut their bungholes up, so they speak 'normally' again
http://www.vanjast.com/SH4Mod/OneNormalVoice.zip (13.5MB)

From the readme:
Quote:

The voice files look are arranged into certain formats- Normal, Stressed and Silent - containing the following prefixes on the audio files

Normal - xxx_K
Stressed - xxx_P
Silent - xxx_S
OnO - OnO_xx (groaning wimps)

In Stressed mode the stupid buggers scream at you all day long... what a game killer - Shows that some people are just not that bright.

Sooo to 'enlighten' ourselves to more pleasurable gameplay I've done the following for #1 voice.

-replicated the xxx_K files and renamed the whole lot to xxx_P, and replaced the original xxx_P files.

This effectively makes the stressed morons 'normal' again, so that you will now not become a 'jibbering sad case' after listening to the original xxx_P's that can never relax.

I don't mind listening to one set of voice files, and so replaced voices #2-#9 all with #1.
I was not going to do 10 voices as this would have been a 100MB download, but you can change the individual voices if you want to.

Notes:
Not all the xxx_P files are replaced. There are about 1-4 files per station and these pertain to the real serious situations like 'Scope Destroyed', so one is only likely to hear this once :) :)
I did not touch the Silent files and these contain a few stressed voices but not so annoying as the screaming 'missfits'.

At last a Normal Silent submarine...
and it's yellow..

have you thought about changing the control file so it only uses silent and normal sounds?

then rewriting them wouldnt be needed.

Just heard about that and not sure how to do it.
