Personaly id stick with regular magazines, but what ever rocks your boat, not really that useful of an accessory when you are very comfortable with your rifle.

It is always good to know what mag is full in the pouch. Which slot did you put it in? This accessory is very useful in that type of situation.

I did'nt find that difficult to keep track of at all. While this accessory is not useless, its not all to useful either.

Would you find it useful if the cost is practically the same as a normal mag? $24 ea.

It is just another thing to give you a slight edge.

Just so long as your not dyslexic and go running into battle thinking you've got 91 rounds remaining and not 19 :DL

Actualy I would like to take one appart first so see how it was put together, the countr may add unnessescary complexity which could provide lower reliability than standard mags. This is all purely speculative, because i havent had one of thsoe mags in my hands yet.
Anyhow if the price is practicaly the same and they are just as reliable then in that case, I would prefer these over standard mags.

You could be right. If they added anymore complexity than attaching a tape to the spring, and cut a square hole in the mag so that you could see the tape position, I'd have to agree with you. Chances are, at an additional $4 per mag, and considering they are of what looks to be of better quality than a standard metal mag, I highly doubt it is anymore complex than that. Just a theory.

Another theory - you may have just created an additional place for dust and dirt to get into your mag. This could be a drawback.

That's 100% what I was thinking.
