Gramophone & GWX 3.0...?
 

For some reason the Gramophone and music does not work at all, I'm using GWX 3.0 in SH3. Not sure what to do on this one. Any idea's would be great or if there is already a post about this could you show me the way to find it. I did a search but did not find any thing on Gramophone's not working yet. Thank you for any help on this.

Have you taken a look at your SHIII/Data/Sound/Gramaphone file to see if
it has songs in it?

I always back up my Data file on a new SHIII install. That way I can replace the corrupt file without having to reload SHIII. I just copy the Backup Data file over the corupted one.

make sure there are no other types of music but OGG files, they work the best on it.

also, my gramaphone keeps skipping songs randomly and playing them until halfway then going to the next song. happened in both 3.0 and 2.1

Yes I have songs there but not sure if they are OGG files, I'II check that out and give it a try. Thank you magicsub2 and Laufen zum Ziel for the replys and help. :) Also I'II do a search for and OGG song files as well.

.ogg files play better than MP3s, which tend to skip, and are much smaller in size than .wav, but all of them will play if installed to the correct folder.

Hey Jim, be sure you'll announce your gramaphone tracks update in big and bold letters ok ? :DL Don't want to miss this event :) I have your gramaphone tracks but probably much earlier release. It contains 227 tracks in all after I deleted couple of radio broadcast news files :shucks:
