Mod for Wolf Packs
 

Does anyone know whether any mod exists for receiving orders to join a wolf pack?

I note that many messages keep arriving advising of convoys etc under attack with grid positions, but cant find any direction orders or vectors to join in a hunt.

Needless to say, if it were possible, this would be a great step in the attempt to recreate realism in the game.

Nope. There are mods to add in AI subs, but they only engage targets with the deck gun. Ubi was supposed to have been planning to include working AI submarines (Among other things) but apparently they canned that idea. (Among other things)

shame but thanks for your reply anyway. It would certainly add a completely new angle to the game if it were possible and also be realistic.

That you can do already, make the following value in your contacts.cfg larger:

Display Range To Opportunity Radio Contacts=5000 [km, for ex.]

If the contact is a circle that means one of our boys spotted him, even if he won't really join in the hunt.
