[REL]SH3 Commander Portraits Add-On

I figured that SH3 Commander could use some more variety in the number of portraits we have available for use on our Kaleun profiles. So, to remedy this, I've compiled the complete (as of 2/10/09 ) collection of real life U-boat captain portraits from uboat.net for use in SH3 Commander.

Download the rar file from the link provided, and then un-rar it into your SH3 Commander\Images file (Typically C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Images). if you'd like to avoid duplicate portraits, delete the existing files out of the \Images folder first, as this collection contains all the available commander portraits already included in SH3 Commander's default install.

Download link:

This file is provided as is and without express or implied warranty. This file is not, and may not be, used for any commercial purpose. All files are courtesy of uboat.net. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

EDIT: Updated with new portraits added to U-boat.net on 2/27/09

Awwwww.... You were faster than me... :wah:
But hey, less work for me! :D *deletes his files*

Thanks for your work. These commander faces are nice. I've wanted to add the u-boat number to the file names, too. Is there going to be an update? :03:

Hah! Be my guest. :03:

Actually, the file names include their last names, so cross referencing them and the boats they commanded on uboat.net should be a snap.

I use JSGME to install mods into SH3CMDR. I have several mods, some of my own making, install this way.

I will use these or the existing SHIII Commander portraits for the Death Cards I issue for D.I.D.

Credit to Mookie for putting these to gether.

A big thanks to Uboat.net for having these portraits on their great site.

Any .jpg cropped to 100 x 150 will work on SH3 commander.

You're referring to these U-Boats, wich were smuggling Hitlers secret stash to japan, in the last days of the war, aren't you? :O::haha:
