Latest toy - Thermalright V2 VGA cooler
 

I installed this VGA cooler on an ATI 4870 1GB and what an improvement! I have a silent 2000 RPM Scyth (http://www.coolerguys.com/kflex80.html) on there and it outperforms the loud stock cooler night and day. Have yet to see this thing leave the 50C area where the stock cooler pushing up towards 90C!

Copper is by far the best metal for comp coolers. It may not dissipate as much immediate heat as alum, but it will take away and absorb much more heat than alum! Of course, along with the same surface area comes more mass which makes cooling much more efficient on all fronts. Low RPM fans work perfectly fine with copper.

I think this is my next motherboard. Has 2 x copper layers. Should help distribute heat evenly and then dissipate it evenly.

EDIT: What I want to see is how it looks installed.

Towards the end, it does show it installed. Not the best shots and it's not in a case, but you can see how it looks installed and with the card inserted into the mobo.

No, we want graphic pictures showing its full glory:D

I will take pics after I get that MB and CPU. I'm still debating on a few things.

I`ve got an identical case, the front light on mine is red. They`re built like a tank, have gotten a lot of good use out of it.

How is the airflow on that case?

My first computer case was a Coolermaster ATCS-200 and then updated to an ATCS-201 with lateral window. First grade cases, much better than Lian li's. Then around 2003 Coolermaster went cheap which was a real pity. They stopped doing 100% aluminium cases and when I upgrade my old trusted 201 I choose a Silverstone Tj-09 (which was designed by ex-Coolermaster engineers). Removable motherboard tray should be a standard feature in any pc case, even Lian-Li has a half assed implementation of such a concept. Don't get me started on Zalman, expensive aluminium cases without any of the niceties of old time Coolermaster or Silverstones. :nope:

Normal airflow. I have two 80mm low RPM bringing air in from the front, and one low RPM 80mm along with the PSU's 120mm blowing that air out the back.

The best place to help one design the perfect noiseless computer (I hate hearing anything having to do with my computer unless its audio that i asked for) is this site here:

That is where I go before doing any upgrades on my system to see if they have any information on a particular cooler, or fan, etc.
