Greetings! A new player here
 

I have to say, I am amazed with this gaming community.
Like most of you I'm very interested into WW2, I was watching the 1995 series battlefield about the uboats

it made me think of the old nes game,, silent service. so i try to find that game, but find SH3

i then find the wonderful mod GWX3.0,, which you guys have done an amazing job.

I've played the game just for about an hour, trying to figure things out. Its not really a user friendly game right now,, I feel like my head is way under water, so to speak.

I'm about to look on here for some basic FAQ's but just thought i'd take the time to say hello and that if its okay, if i have any questions, i'll post them here

so if your up to it, and think you could help me please, look at this topic time to time :)

Welkommen Kameraden! You will find this a nice place to relax after a long patrol. SHIII is a very simple sim to learn but with all the variables it can take a bit to master. You will find with GWX that what worked well in one mission is a total failure in the next. The enemy always improves so change your tactics accourdingly.

Try typing silent hunter 3 or GWX in to YOUTUBE, you will find a few tutorials and other nick naks including attacks on there, quite usefull some of it.
