Bravo!
Biggest I've sunk so far was a fast freighter for 15000 tons or so. :shifty: |
I've once sunk a Task Force of 3 battleships (On the Core game)
It was clearly a lucky strike since i had no reports of it whatsoever. A King George V, a Nelson and a Revenge. The King George went down on the first torpedo. |
Very impressive list of kills!
Recently in my VII I found a convoy, set up to attack it, and found a strange symbol smack dab in the middle. Used the 'eye-in-the-sky' to surf over and take a look. T'was the Revenge, scared the crap out of me to select it as my first target. Moderate seas, pitch black. Drove within 100 meters in front of a C3 (yes) just to get a good angle on the bugger. 4 torps into the Revenge, 3 hits, fired the stern torp into the C3, and got the heck out of there. Revenge didn't sink, was dead in the water, C3 limped away. Came back 1 hour later (game time) to throw one final torp into Revenge, and it keeled over. Beautiful :)! Am going to be 'more agressive'. |
Congrats!! Very nice kill.
My list so far 2 Southhampton Heavy Cruisers HMS Hood HMS Victorious (Illustrious class carrier) HMS Implacable (BB) One other battleship (HMS Nelson?) that I cant remember the name Lots of fun hunting task forces in GWX.... |
