now i'm sick of it.,i've started the career mode over 3 times now from 1941,completed all my objectives every mission (somethimes more than 4 a mission),and sunk a gazillion ships :oops: (sorry)
here's the funny bit,EVERY time i get at late '42 i can't load a game saved during patrol (the autosave "returning and leaving base" works just fine when loading )
but thats not all.:stare:
after i am transfered to brisbane aus. (begin '43) i can do what i want (sink a lot of ships , complete 2 or more objectives , i even sunk a light cruiser and an isle battleship + completed 3 objectives) i can't end patrol at brisbane:damn: .
so i set course to freemantle and there i can dock and end mission.
here's the pickle , everytime they "mothball" me . career over .
any comments?

If your running patch 1.2 your about a year behind. You can get 1.4 and fix your current problems but I would highly reccomend the U Boat missions (1.5). It fixes a few more things and most of the mods are now 1.5 only and it only cost $10.

Well, mt first guess would be your statement above. Is there a reason you have not patched to at least 1.4 ? If I may suggest...Start over and patch to 1.4 and download RSRDC. It's a reworked campaign with major improvement. You won't regret it.

is the 1.5 for sale in stores or only dwnldbl?

My understanding is that you will not be able to download from the states to outside the states. There may be a european download though.

As for the deck gun cheat, if you know how to edit an ini file, you can do what ever you want with the gun. Search the mods section for more info.

if your using my old deck gun mod i have it for v1.4 and v1.5

it works fine for both, the same goes for my torpedo mods

so that mothballing after youve been transferred to fremantle is a 1.2 problem?

i too am playing 1.2 whenever its around 43' I get transfered to fremantle from brisbane without notice, then i get retired by the game... and i end up always starting a new career at 43' to continue...

hate it.. i dont have a clean installer for SH4... and its nowhere to find around here...

you must have firewall issues, (maybe your trying to download at workplace?) but you dont need to log in to download from filefront, thats why most all of us us it.
